Patti McDonald, Neighbor

Patti McDonald is a young and upcoming journalist and self-proclaimed sports junkie. Patti will be covering sporting events in the Temple Terrace area and anything else that comes her way.

As the Managing Editor and Sports Editor of Hillsborough Community College’s newspaper, Patti was involved in all things sports related at the school. She graduated with honors and an Associate of Arts degree from HCC, and is now studying Mass Communications at the University of South Florida. She also covers high school sports for the St. Pete Times.

Patti grew up in Michigan, practices yoga everyday, and is an admitted hockey-fiend. She is a Tampa Bay Lightning fanatic and season ticket holder, but also stays true to her Detroit roots, cheering on the Red Wings on her second TV at home.  If Patti isn’t watching the news or sports, she is most likely asleep.
