Hello!  I am a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and my office is at Ideal Balance, which has been a member of the Temple Terrace community for many years, under the knowledgable and successful leadership of Dr. Brian Lau, AP, DOM.  I have joined Dr. Lau's practice as a fellow Acupuncture Physician so that Ideal Balance may provide more members of the community with the health benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other therapies. A little bit about me:  I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida (GO BULLS!) where I am also an Alumni Life Member.  My focus was cancer research, which I spent 1.5 years doing as a kind of externship through the Honors Program.  I (later in my life) earned a Masters of Science degree from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota to become a licensed Primary Care Provider of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the great State of Florida.

I have lived in the Tampa area since 1994 when I moved here from my hometown of Inverness, Florida, to go to USF.  I am a 4th generation Floridian.  I am the owner of Gilbert, a wonderful Italian Greyhound/Manchester Terrier mix dog that I rescued several years ago from SPCA, and I consider myself an animal advocate.  I enjoy meeting new people, reading, gardening, and the study and practice of medicine.
