4 Arrested in Cocaine Trafficking Bust
The men are accused of trying to buy a kilo from undercover officers.
A two-week undercover drug investigation in north Tampa ended yesterday afternoon with the arrest of four men from out of town. According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office media release, the county’s Major Violators Unit teamed up with the Tampa Police Department for the investigation that led to the arrest of four men. The men were arrested at 12:30 p.m. yesterday outside the Amscot at 1727 Busch Blvd., said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Debbie Carter. The foursome stands accused of trying to purchase a kilogram of cocaine for $34,000, the press release said.
