Summer is here, and everybody's looking for something new to do. What better time to revisit the best local hot spots in the Temple Terrace area? Until July 8, we're collecting nominations for Readers' Choice 2012 in 25 categories: Which local places would you recommend to your neighbors? Nominate your favorites in the comments below or on the articles linked above. We'll collect all the nominations, and we'll put them to a vote starting July 23. This elite group has made it through the first three rounds of voting in Temple Terrace Patch’s Best Customer Service contest and they deserve a pat on the back for sure. Update: It was a close battle in this week’s poll, but Riverhills Park edged out Lettuce Lake as Temple Terrace’s favorite. You chose Riverhills Park with 18 votes. Find out which restaurant Patch readers voted for!
Update: The tally is in and you’ve made your choice Temple Terrace! With 20 votes out of 38, Olde World Cheese Shop is your favorite spot to grab lunch. The cheese shop wasn’t even included in the poll to begin with, but Temple Terrace residents spoke on its behalf and it was added late on Monday. “Please add the Olde World Cheese Shop to the list,” wrote Whitney Page. Patch reader Cindy Kocher echoed the sentiments that paved the way to the eatery’s win in our poll.
