I'm going to have to learn more about compost, maybe then I'll have better luck around my yard!

A few…Read More of my Temple Terrace Garden Club comrades and I were just talking about this yesterday, noting that they can grow Crepe Myrtles better than anyone. We were also commenting on how beautiful the flowering plants are that the City planted along 56th Street. The roundabout was just one area that needed some help. So the title of this article is certainly not accurate. I commend the City of Temple Terrace for making an effort to beautify our City!! Hats off to you! It has been such a pleasure working with the City of Temple Terrace on this project, they are great to work with. We will keep you posted as the roundabout evolves.

My husband and I sifted through the dust and rubble to retrieve some of the colorful bits and pieces of tile and would like to donate these if they would be used for a charitable fundraiser. The idea of stepping stones appeals to me, as well as a smaller memento, like a creatively designed and decorated paper weight. In any case, a concern about such examples of historical preservation strengthens a sense of community. Thanks to Patch for getting this information out. Caroline Barnard

It's so nice when several neighborhoods can come together and work as one.It shows the rest of the…Read More Tampa Bay area that when great people work together, anything is possible. Big thanks go out to Dana Carver and Cheri Donohue for putting this enormous job together. It shows what can be done when great minds and neighbors come together and work as one. Just a few months ago Jimmy Ciaccio of Gaspar's Patio Bar & Grill helped organize the edging of the roads around the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club and now this. What's next?
A big thanks to all those who make the extra effort to help our community. Maybe I missed it, but could we have a sign up sheet or something the next time we put something like this together, so more of us could schedule ourselves time to be a part of this great group?
