This casual Tex-Mex restaurant was founded in Dallas in 1984 and quickly grew into a chain. Hard economic times eliminated all but this location, but the menu has remained the same, including the fresh tortillas made in house. There's a wide range of spicy favorites, including fajitas, chiles rellenos, mesquite-grilled ribs and shrimp, various vegetarian options and several salsas to choose from. The outdoor patio gets lively on weekends and is also available for private parties. Every Friday, the bar stays open until 3 a.m. and a D.J. and live band entertain. Dogs are welcome on the patio and there's even a Yappy Hour once a month with free dog treats.
