The Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church does not look like a church at all. The worship center does not sport the traditional look of many religious institutions. The church and the weekday school are two separate buildings. The Education Building is the two-story building located on the north side of the property. The school operates as a separate business entity and has a Board of Directors made up of church members and parents of students. You don't have to be a church member to serve on the Board or to attend the school. While they do have a weekly chapel session, the school does not use Christian curriculum. They are nationally accredited (by NAC) and also contract with Hillsborough County Public Schools to serve children who are considered to be at risk. They have to use curriculums that are approved by the county in order to receive reimbursement.
