Florida College, founded in 1946, is a private Christian college located in the heart of Temple Terrace. It comprises two of the city's historic buildings: Sutton Hall, which was built in 1922 as the clubhouse for the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club; and the Student Center, which was built in 1926 as Club Morocco Nightclub and Casino.
The college offers degree programs in Biblical and liberal studies, elementary education, communications, sports management, business administration, pre-medicine and pre-law. It emphasizes strong academics, character-building education, and moral and spiritual growth. The slogan is: "Florida College: Learning, Living, Leading His Way."
