LifePath Hospice Seeks Volunteers in North Tampa/USF Area

Those interested in volunteering are invited to attend an orientation session June 24.

Volunteers interested in making a difference in the lives of terminally ill patients are needed in the North Tampa/University of South Florida area.

LifePatch Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide compassion and companionship to patients. The volunteers read to patients, help at mealtimes, provide much-needed breaks for caregivers, help create legacy projects or simply sit with patients. 

Specialty and professional volunteers, such as hair stylists, massage therapists and nail technicians, are also needed.

Those interested in volunteering are invited to attend a 90-minute orientation session Monday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the LifePath Hospice Resource Center, 11150 N. 53rd St., Temple Terrace.
