How to Volunteer at VA Hospital

The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital welcomes volunteers.

A total of 50 teens participated in the Junior Intern Summer Program to prepare to become hospital volunteers, according to a story posted Wednesday on TBO.com.

The annual training allows students the opportunity to interact with patients at the hospital. According to the TBO story, a Jesuit High School student from Temple Terrace and two students were among the participants.
