Christ Our Redeemer will host its first Health Festival for the Body, Mind and Spirit in the fellowship hall and church. We will have exhibitors addressing body health by offering screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugars, BMI’s, HIV testing and more. Other vendors will have educational material to teach you about healthy living and address many other areas of life. Voice, piano, and hand bell lessons will be provided in the church. Art lessons, memory keeping and greeting card making, sewing lessons, and tennis lessons will all be given for no cost. Ballroom and Line dancing will be demonstrated. Other healthy types of movements will be demonstrated and taught. Healthy cooking will be demonstrated and a free sack lunch provided in the fellowship hall. One Accord will perform in the breezeway.
Spiritual health will be addressed by Pastor Meyer offering prayers for healing. A pill bottle with slips of colored paper listing Bible passages for assistance with dealing with anger, anxiety fear, etc. will be given to each person attending. There will be more helpful activities and educational materials available.
