Team Impact Ready to Inspire Temple Terrace

The national performing group of former professional athletes will put on a free show at Greco Middle School this Saturday, March 3.

Want to see former NFL players, WWE wrestlers and champion power-lifters up close and personal?

You’ll get your chance on Saturday when Team Impact makes its way to Greco Middle School for a free performance at 11 a.m. The national group’s appearance at the school is being sponsored by the Greco PTSA.

“This event is open to everyone in the community,” Alison Fernandez, PTSA president, wrote in an email. “We hope to have students of many ages and their families.”

Team Impact is made up of “world-class athletes, including champion power-lifters, previous WWE wrestlers, and former NFL football players,” according to a media release. “The men of Team Impact travel the globe motivating and inspiring people of all ages and have performed their amazing presentation in front of millions.”

Spectators can expect a show that includes feats of strength, comedy and music, Fernandez said, adding that pizza will be available.

Team Impact uses entertainment to reach children with an anti-drug and pro-school message, according to its media release. Team members include Chris McIver, CJ Arocha, Ron Waterman and Chip Minton, among others.

The show starts at 11 a.m. in the Greco gym, 6925 E. Fowler Ave.

Amen! NO WALLY WORLD!! Sweat Tomatoes time has passed in my opinion. What I would like is a BestRead More Buy type of store somewhere where you can electronics and such. We used to have a Circuit city on Fowler along with a real nice book store, then the pressure of being so close to suitcase city forced them all to close or move to New Tampa. It's real sad, I feel I speak for most of us In saying we need a good variety of businesses local to Temple Terrace to shop at.
