Reader's Spotlight: Greco Teacher Receives Governor's Shine Award
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics teacher Elizabeth Heli received the award for going above and beyond to make a difference in education.
Greco Middle School's lead STEM teacher, Elizabeth Heli, was selected by Gov. Rick Scott for the Governor's Shine Award.
Each year, the governor selects one teacher statewide and presents this award to him or her for going above and beyond to make the greatest difference in education.
The governor presented the award to Heli Feb. 7 at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
