Florida College welcomed students Sunday at its Opening Ceremonies event.
has opened its doors this year to nearly 500 students, who were welcomed to the school during Opening Ceremonies on Sunday.
During the event, Florida College President Dr. H.E. “Buddy” Payne gave an address on this year's theme, “Second-Mile Service,” and Temple Terrace Mayor Joe Affronti encouraged students (both new and returning) to become valuable citizens in their new community.
