Come see what Temple Terrace and the surrounding communities looked like one-hundred years ago as Bryan Weinstein, of Tampa Changing, presents his collection of re-photography taken from around Tampa Bay.
Re-photography, also known as then & now photography, involves locating a historic photograph and taking a modern photograph of the scene from the same vantage point.  When the two photographs are shown together, the evolution of the City’s architecture, its changing urban landscapes, and its destruction and preservation of historic buildings can easily be seen.   As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words”.  However, as you will see, a historic and modern re-photograph are worth many times more.
