What does TBT offer in the way of Internet, computer and programming?

We offer a Computer Repair and Networking program that is Cisco Academy and leads to a Microsoft A+ certification. The majority of our students leave with this certificate. Many of our students will go on for degrees in IT but some will use it as their "college job". Unfortunately, most kids these days need a job while in college and, with the preparation we can give them, can usually find better than entry level positions often working fewer hours for the amount of money they need. My favorite college job story is the girl who graduated from Tech with ther cosmetology license, worked her way through USF, got a degree in Political Science and decided to go to law school. Now she's a practicing attorney and doesn't cut my hair anymore ! We take the majority of our students in 9th grade since our programs run four years but do take some 10th graders depending upon space available and their willingness to do four years work in three. If you would like more info, call me at 744-8360 x225 most days from 7:00 to 3:30 (but Monday, 6/4) 12:00 to 4:00. To apply go to www.mytbt.com Marcy Leber
