Earl Lennard, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections, will be available at the Temple Terrace Public Library to discuss Early Voting and election procedures in Hillsborough County; which are different than surrounding counties in the Tampa Bay area.
As one of five preclearance counties in the state of Florida, Hillsborough has two separate laws that will impact voters during the Presidential Preference Primary. Early Vote will remain at two weeks, and registered voters who move to Hillsborough County can still change their address at the polling place on Election Day.
Early Voting in Hillsborough County starts on Monday, January 16, 2012, and ends on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
