Biz Innovation Station Camp

Young entrepreneurs wanting to start their own businesses and make money before school resumes can gain an advantage at Forward Thinking Initiatives’ (FTI) Teen Business and Innovation Camps at Tampa’s Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) the weeks of June 11th and 18th.

FTI, a Tampa Bay nonprofit, teaches entrepreneurship, innovation and creative thinking to teens. The organization’s four fun-filled, hands-on camps in MOSI’s Idea Zone are designed for kids going into grades six through twelve, and aims to inspire them to come up with products and services and then build businesses around their ideas.

At the camps, teens will make their own hoops and learn “hooping”; build Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) that they’ll test underwater; recreate DaVinci’s inventions, like the catapult; design video games; and use 3D modeling software Sketch Up to create real-life product ideas.
