2 Florida College Sophomores Named All-Florida Academic Team Members
Emma Angelo and Emma Bingham received the honor.
From Florida College:
On April 5, in a special awards ceremony in Orlando, sophomores Emma Angelo and Emma Bingham were selected as members of the 2012 All-Florida Academic Team.
Accredited colleges and universities nominate high-achieving students for the Phi Theta Kappa All-USA Academic Team. By virtue of their standing in this national competition, students are then selected for the All-Florida Academic Team.

The criteria for nomination is strict and includes participation in honors organizations, awards and honors for academic accomplishments, academic enrichment through jobs and internships, and any notable academic achievements, skills, and cultural enrichment projects.
In addition to the honor of being chosen for the team, members receive Phi Theta Kappa medallions and certificates, and scholarship opportunities.
