Yard Waste Collection Extended Through Saturday

The city is clearing debris from Tropical Storm Debby.


From the City of Temple Terrace:

The will extend Wednesday’s yard waste collection for an additional three days to help homeowners clear their properties of storm-related debris.

Sanitation crews will be in service throughout Temple Terrace neighborhoods Wednesday through Saturday to remove debris related to Tropical Storm Debby. There will be no charge for this additional service to residents.

Homeowners should place tree branches, leaves, plants and other yard waste curbside by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Homeowners are encouraged to bag, bundle or otherwise containerize their debris, when possible.

Crews on Saturday will focus on properties along the parade route for , so homeowners are urged to place their debris curbside as soon as possible. This special pickup service will end at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

There will be no yard-waste collection on July 4 because of the national holiday. Homeowners with concerns or special needs should call Public Works at 813-506-6570.
