VIDEO: Obama Warns Tampa Voters of 'Romnesia'

President Barack Obama encouraged those who attended his "America Forward!" stop in Tampa to vote for him.

As President Barack Obama arrived in Ybor City's Centennial Park on Oct. 25, a crowd of an estimated 8,500 supporters cheered him on.

Obama's message to voters was clear: He wants another four years to accomplish what he's already set out to do.

He told those in attendance that Republican challenger Gov. Mitt Romney is promoting policies "that aren't going to work."

"He's hoping you won't remember and you'll come down with a case of what we call 'Romnesia,'" Obama told supporters.

Watch the video to see the first few minutes of the President's Tampa speech.

He's not getting my VOTE not in this lifetime!!!! His message was nothing more then lip service and lies. I cannot trust a man I know nothing about. Release his records and I might change my mind....but a man who has something to hide will go out of his way to conceal and deceive. The voting machines had better be ACCURATE I am sick to death of voter FRAUD!

The Romnesia phrase is funny...until you start to realize that Romney is campaigning as a chameleon and you see how many people are falling for it. Two of the most important points from Obama's speech this morning: "...I don't think any politician in Washington, most of whom are male, should be making healthcare decisions for women..." and “When you elect a president, you’re counting on someone you can trust to fight for you, who you can trust to do what they say they’re going to do, who you can trust to make sure that when something unexpected happens he or she is going to be thinking about your family, your future...Trust matters!” http://www.tampabay.com/news/politics/national/article1258288.ece

This morning's event was such a joke..!

I'd like to see the 'President' take Donald Trump up on his offer.. I too stopped by the event this morning and haven't ever seen so many confused looking people leave a campaign rally. Of course the crowd that was there already had their mind made up as to who their voting for. Of course their all voting for Obama, they don't want to lose their free Obama hand out money.. The majority of the people in the crowd who I saw this morning didn't even look like Americans.. It looked like I was walking up on a 3rd World Country as these people were leaving.. - What a joke..!

Watch your mail for the statement of your healthcare cost 2013. We have been notified that our cost goes from $97.80 per month to $185.80 per month and benefits are being dropped altogether for 2014...so much for the lie "you can keep your healthcare and your doctor's"...The real truth will come out but the sheep will re-elect the socialist and we will end up as a 3rd World Country

Don't trust him, not voting for him!

On the 2nd phrase you quoted- Has Obama really done what he said he was going to do? Has he ended the wars or is he siding with the UN to keep sending our troops back into war? What about the budget cuts that Washington has done to our military vets for health care and other problems that they face? If you look at Mitt Romney's track record, you will see its pretty decent. He has accomplished much for his state. If you look at Obama's record in Illinois? Not something I would want on my record! Medical there is so screwed up its unbelievable. And what about his approval of "partial birth" abortions? Thats killing babies. Look up some of the stuff on it, its horrifying. One nurse even spoke of holding one of those babies of a "partial birth" abortion in her arms as it drew its last breaths in a dark room where they had directed her to take it, put it on a table and let it die alone.. It took it an hour to die. Is that what you want in the White House? It gives me nightmares thinking about it and what someone that would support that sort of thing is truly capable of doing. Think about it.

What does an American look like? You do realize America spans from Canada to Argentina.
TJG. October 26, 2012 at 07:04 PM
@ Cesar, -- If you're really interested in what an American looks like, I'll invite you to Saturday's rally in Land O' Lakes for Mitt Romney and Marco Rubio - supporting the Romney/Ryan ticket. - I can assure you, there will be plenty of 'True Americans' in the crowd there. - now, for the Obama rally which took place in Ybor yesterday at 9am (while the rest of the working class of Tampa was at their job), this group of people at the Obama rally was a complete joke. I decided to be in the area since I don't live to far and I had the day off from work anyway. - I had no interest in seeing Obama or listening to his deceiving 'plan'. - But when I was walking up as people were leaving, I felt as if I was walking up on a 3rd World Country..! - I thought Ybor at night was scary... But, after seeing the crowd leaving a 9am Obama Rally,, -- that was SCARY.! - and the scariest and worst part overall is that these people actually have the ability to vote. --- Ridiculous...!
Cesar Luzey October 26, 2012 at 10:33 PM
I still don't know what a true American is? What I do know is that those scary people in Ybor city, who actually have the ability to vote are fast becoming the majority. So spin it anyway you want, but this is the last election they wont decide.

Romnesia.......Obamnesia......what's the difference? People are truly residing in fantasyland to support any of this madness.

Consider these facts before you vote: 1. Is the economy better off now than it was four years ago? Based on the evidence, I'd have to say no. Wages are down, the the prices of everything we buy is up. The price of gas has doubled. Good jobs are scarce. 2. Are the slight "up tics" in the economy a solid trend in the right direction? I don't think so. First, the gains are very slight. Second, I believe they are the result in the temporary stimulus by the Federal Reserve, in which they printed a lot of new money. It provides a slight bump now, but the cost will come later - after the election. Ben Bernanke is trying to save Obama's job, along with his own. 3. The continual misrepresentation of Romney on the auto bailout by the Obama administration. Obama appears to be taking complete credit for the bailout, while simultaneously saying that Romney was for liquidation of the auto industry. This is an absolute falsehood. It was Bush who initiated the bailout and TARP. Obama continued it and then expanded it, to his credit. However, Romney was one of the first to say that the industry needed to go through bankruptcy reorganization, and eventually they did exactly that. He also said that any needed loans should come from the private sector. He never said that the industry should be liquidated, or that he would deny federal funds if he were president, and private sector funds were not available. Obama lies! 4. The Benghazi coverup and lies.

Thanks for all the support you guys (that is - all Mitt Romney supporters). I'm here at the Mitt Romney rally in Land O' Lakes now. The biggest difference I notice on today's trip vs. this past weekend's ridiculous event in Ybor for the Obama club is that today's crowd is at least 30x as big, and it's full of Americans...!! - What I saw this past week in Ybor was like walking up on a 3rd World Country with an Obama crowd full of unemployed, ex-cons, and welfare rats.. This place in Pasco is great..! Waiting on Mitt's arrival now..!

What was soooo scary? You people always say we call you racists. Go figure? Was it because there wasn't a street filled with anglo-saxon old people that it looked like a third world country to you? America is not the America of 1950 anymore & that seems to bother some people that have a hard time dealing with the fact that America changes. That's what America has always been about. Your profile of what Americans SHOULD be is gone with the wind. Caucasions are a minority in America today. Deal with it, or go live somewhere else that you like. Too bad for you there are no time machines to go to Berlin about 1937.

TGJ, How do you know the people you were looking at were unemployed, ex-cons, & welfare rats? Did you take a survey? You say the people in the Romney rally were Americans. That implies that the people at Obama's rally were not Americans. Maybe they were Kenyans, like Obama, LOL. Did you check anyone's citizenship papers? No wonder we consider people like you the part of America that we are thankfull for the fact of your vanishing from the landscape. You people aren't good Americans. Most of you are everything that is wrong with this country. Your exclusionary hate doesn't fly in America anymore. That is why you lost the election. You, & yours, are so out of touch with the real America that you are relegated to the junk heap of politics.

Colter95 asked > 1. Is the economy better off now than it was four years ago? Damn straigt it is. We were on the verge of the greatest depresion since 1929 & Obama averted it. 2. Are the slight "up tics" in the economy a solid trend in the right direction? Unemployment is down & the Company I work for ran a double didgit gain last year. We ALWAYS have a hiring sign out. 3. The continual misrepresentation of Romney on the auto bailout by the Obama administration. Obama appears to be taking complete credit for the bailout, while simultaneously saying that Romney was for liquidation of the auto industry. What about Romney falsly saying the Chrysler was making cars in China?
