Temple Terrace Thanksgiving Closings, Openings

Most City of Temple Terrace and Hillsborough County government offices are closed for a long weekend.

As Temple Terrace residents carve into their turkeys and enjoy their pies, most government workers in the area will also enjoy a break from the workaday world.

The City of Temple Terrace and Hillsborough County have announced they are closing most of their offices and facilities for two days (Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23) to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.

The closings apply to administrative offices, libraries, Head Start centers, recreation centers, senior centers and nutrition centers. Some regional parks will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
