Professional Actress Joins Residents to Promote City in New Video
Pieces of a marketing video were shot around town last week. The goal is to promote the City of Temple Terrace.
Professional actress Leslie Maine had never been to Temple Terrace before March 8, but she said she's looking forward to coming back.
"It's a really great city," said Maine, who lives in Orlando has appeared on Army Wives and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Jr. "I'm going to have to venture over here for dinner."
City officials are hoping others have the same reaction to Temple Terrace. Last week, the city had Tampa-based production company Full Throttle Intermedia shoot pieces of footage around town that will make up a promotional video, which will be shared with businesses and realtors and appear in the city's press kits, on the city's web site, and possibly on TV.

Mike Dunn, the city's public information officer, said the city's goal is to have the video ready in time for the Republican National Convention, which takes place in Tampa Aug. 27-30.
