Ridgedale Road Expected to Temporarily Close Next Week

The street will close during the day for at least two days beginning May 21.

If you drive on Ridgedale Road, mark your calendar for one week from today.

That’s when Ridgedale will close from Mission Hills Avenue to Redwood Avenue, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., for two—possibly three—days.

“The road closure is for sanitary sewer maintenance,” said Community Service Officer Tracy Mishler, .

The small stretch will be closed May 21, 22, and maybe 23, but it will reopen each evening after work is complete.

Drivers traveling south on Ridgedale can avoid the closure by turning right onto Mission Hills, left onto Rachel Street, left onto Redwood Avenue, and right back onto Ridgedale. Those traveling north can do the opposite. There are other alternatives, and a detour is expected to be posted.

Amen! NO WALLY WORLD!! Sweat Tomatoes time has passed in my opinion. What I would like is a BestRead More Buy type of store somewhere where you can electronics and such. We used to have a Circuit city on Fowler along with a real nice book store, then the pressure of being so close to suitcase city forced them all to close or move to New Tampa. It's real sad, I feel I speak for most of us In saying we need a good variety of businesses local to Temple Terrace to shop at.
