City’s New Website Launched
Temple Terrace has redesigned its website as part of its marketing campaign.

The City of Temple Terrace has introduced a new website designed to expand services to residents and better showcase the community.
The website was created by CivicPlus of Manhattan, Kansas, which also designed Hillsborough County’s new website. The company specializes in websites for municipalities and other government agencies and has designed more than 900 government sites, including 40 in Florida.

Temple Terrace’s site highlights the , which was inspired by the original marketing themes of the 1920s. It is part of the to draw more attention to the business, residential and lifestyle amenities offered by the community. The goal was to have the website in place before the Republican National Convention comes to Tampa in late August. The convention will bring tens of thousands of people to the area who are unfamiliar with cities such as Temple Terrace.

- sign up to be notified by e-mail or smart phone texts for new job postings, crime alerts and City Council agendas and minutes;
- report a concern online to the Police Department, Public Works or Code Compliance;
- view watering restrictions, board vacancies, the city newsletter and other valuable information;
- access a Resident Help Center for quick links to city services;
- use the News Center to find police, fire and general city news releases; and
- view a calendar of events for the Temple Terrace Public Library and Parks & Recreation.
More is coming. In October, new software will be installed that will allow residents to manage their Parks & Recreation memberships, make payments and rent facilities online. A also is in production and will be accessible via the website.
