Temple Terrace Police Detective Laid to Rest

Temple Terrace Police Det. Christopher Migliore died recently due to illness.

The Temple Terrace Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its own.

Det. Christopher Migliore, 31, was laid to rest March 4 following complications from Cushing’s Syndrome, according to Examiner.com. A former officer of the year, Migliore began his career on the University of South Florida Police Department before joining the Temple Terrace force.

Temple Terrace communications officer Chad Bennett, a longtime friend of Migliore, issued the End of Watch call following the funeral services, Examiner.com reported.

“Temple Terrace Police calling 707. 707? 707? No response...final call for Temple Terrace police detective Chris Migliore,” the article states.

Bennett said the department will retire Migliore’s badge number, 51, and unit number, 707, in his honor.
