Temple Terrace Church Fire Was Arson, Officials Say

The blaze happened Tuesday, April 16.

A fire at a local church caused thousands of dollars in damage Tuesday, and officials say they believe someone intentionally started the blaze.

At 9:19 p.m., the Temple Terrace Fire Department responded to the fire at Perfected Love International Fellowship church, 10960 N. 56th St., according to a release from the City of Temple Terrace.

"Firefighters arrived to find flames on the roof the storefront facility," said Temple Terrace Fire Chief Keith Chapman in the release. The fire on April 16 caused an estimated $4,500 in damage to the facility’s roof and sign, officials say.
