Police Search for Burglary Suspect After Break-In Near Fowler Avenue

Tampa police are searching for a burglary suspect who was caught on video before he allegedly broke into a home at 11206 N. 51st St. 

The suspect parked a car, which appears to be a sedan, in front of the residence and committed the burglary Oct. 25 some time between 6 and 9 a.m., according to the .

The home’s surveillance system shows the suspect approaching the front door, knocking and ringing the doorbell.

When no one answered the door, the suspect smashed a bedroom window and went inside, the police department said. He rummaged through drawers before leaving through the front door.

Detectives are still working with the homeowner to determine if anything was stolen, according to the police department.
