The student was on a school bus on the way to school when the items were found.

A 15-year-old student was arrested this morning after he was found to be in possession of a stun gun and marijuana on a school bus.

At around 7:14 a.m., Hillsborough County School Security responded to an anonymous complaint that a student on a Hillsborough County school bus was in possession of a stun gun, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Security located and stopped the bus on Orient Road across from Tampa Bay Technical School, while it was on its way to King High School.

School security officers found the student, removed him from the school bus and searched him. They found him in possession of a stun gun and four small plastic baggies of marijuana, the sheriff’s office said.
