Police Work to Connect Shooting Organizers to Temple Terrace Burglaries

Police say the teens involved in last week's shooting plot could also be responsible for local home burglaries.

The two handguns found in possession of the teenagers who off campus last week were stolen during a Dec. 12 home burglary in Temple Terrace, according to Tracy Mishler, community service officer with the .

The burglary occurred in the 500 block of Broxburn Avenue, Mishler said. On the same day on the same block, another home was burglarized and a digital camera was stolen.

Darius Anthony Fuches, 19, of 9861 Morris Glen in Tampa, and Marquez D-Magio O'Quendo, 18, of 8005 Peach Drive in Temple Terrace, and a 15-year-old boy were arrested last week in relation to the shooting plot. Mishler said they could also be responsible for recent burglaries on Coral Dawn Court, Terrace Trail Lane, Morris Glen Way and in the .

“They call themselves the ‘Savage Gang,’” Mishler wrote in an email to the community.

He said police are attempting to identify other members of this group.
