Temple Terrace Police are looking for a man who they say robbed Kmart at 5400 Busch Blvd. on Saturday, and they’ve issued a BOLO (Be on the Lookout) alert to the public.

“The suspect entered Kmart, approached the clerk, produced a firearm and demanded money,” according to the summary of the offense. “The suspect then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.”

Police have also released a surveillance photo of the suspect. In it, a black male is wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, red-and-black hat and black sunglasses.

Police said the suspect is between 18 and 25 years old and between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches tall. His sunglasses had rhinestones on them and could have been women’s sunglasses.

Before you know it, Kmart will say the area is too dangerous and move to New Tampa with most of the other businesses that used to be here.

Because of this robbery the garden section will close earlier.

Good point. When you think of it, where in T.T can you stop to get gardening supplies?? T.T seems like the ideal community for gardeners. WTH are the Frank's and other businesses that catered to the green thumbs?! This could be a new local business to open up here.
