OMG PD: MMA Moves, Vacuum Attack, Wedgie Bandit

We compile the odd, unusual 'oh my gosh' police items from throughout the Tampa Bay region.

A Land O' Lakes teen is accused of using some mixed martial arts moves on his mother and sister after he had his cellphone taken away.

According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, the 16-year-old choked, kicked and performed MMA moves on his sister, then chased his mother and "placed her in a physically restraining MMA move."

The teen, whose name is being withheld because of his age, was arrested and taken to the juvenile assessment center without incident.

Snoopy Got Run Over on Purpose?

A 5-year-old Jack Russell terrier named Snoopy is dead after police said a car allegedly ran him over on purpose.

According to St. Petersburg Police, a blue, foor-door sedan was seen heading through an alley at a high rate of speed when it struck a small dog, then continued to leave the area without stopping.

Police said based on the witnesses' account, it appeared that the driver intentionally ran over the dog.

Detectives have released a surveillance video in the hope of identifying the driver of the vehicle.

YouTube Prankster Charged With Giving Wedgies

An 18-year-old Bradenton man was arrested on battery charges after he was accused of giving strangers wedgies outside of a local movie theater.

Charles Ross has filmed himself on Anna Maria Island kissing strangers, doing the trust test with strangers and even panhandling in reverse by giving people dollars on street corners because he's doing well. His videos have received hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube, but his latest stunt apparently went too far.

Ross was arrested Jan. 13 on charges of battery with non-serious injury. He was released on a $750 bond.
