Temple Terrace Motorcyclist Killed in Possible Hit and Run

James L. Beaupierre was killed in a crash on June 12 at about 12:41 a.m.

Beaupierre, of Tampa, was driving his 1999 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on 78th Street. When he got to 50th Street, he hit another vehicle that crossed his path. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office does not know what type of vehicle was involved in the crash or which direction it was headed, according to a statement.

Beaupierre, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said. No witnesses have been located.
