A King High School teacher has been accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the incidents began around March 17 and continued through July 12. Teacher Jeffrey Halle Jr. , 32, supervised an afterschool program the teen was enrolled in. During this time period, “Mr. Halle and the victim made arrangements during normal school hours to meet in the vacant classroom during the after school program,” a sheriff’s office media release said.

Halle is also accused of making arrangements via text on July 10 to meet the girl at her home to engage in sexual intercourse, the release said.
