Police officers made a few matches but some stolen goods are still unclaimed.

“There are lot of unusual items that people will see and recognize,” said O’Connor. “There’s currency from several different countries, there are class rings, Nooks, iPads, and several unique items that hopefully we can get back to their rightful owners.”

Why didn’t Armstrong sell the stolen property?

“I can only speculate that pawn shops did not want those stuff, which is why he still had them,” said O’Connor. “Lucky for us he still had them and lucky for the victims.”

O’Connor said that it is very important for folks to copy down the serial number of their electronics and other items or to put an unique identifier on them, in order to be more easily recovered if stolen.
