Crime Report: Thieves Steal Laundry Basket, Furniture, Other Items

April 11, between 7:30 a.m. and 6:55 p.m.
11300 block of Stratton Drive in Victoria Terrace Townhomes
A back patio door was pried off its track, but nothing was reported stolen, according to .

Burglary Residence
April 12, between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
10300 block of Councils Way
Someone entered the townhome through an unlocked back sliding glass door, according to the police department. They ate some food and rummaged through a teenager’s bedroom but didn’t take anything.

A neighbor reported seeing someone suspicious near the townhome at approximately 12:30 p.m., according to police.

Burglary Residence
April 13, between 8 a.m. and 4:13 p.m.
5300 block of Grove Hill Road
Someone kicked in the front door of the home and ransacked the inside, according to police. They took an empty safe, an iPad, a laundry basket and clothes and sneakers.

A neighbor reported seeing two suspicious people in the apartment complex located adjacent to the home at approximately 10:30 a.m., police said.

April 15, overnight
7800 block of Capwood Avenue
Someone took three pieces of brown wicker patio furniture from the front porch of the residence, according to police.

April 16, overnight
300 block of Belle Terre Avenue
Someone broke out the passenger side window of a 2008 Saturn and took a purse and its contents, police said.

200 block of Avondale Avenue
Someone pried open a back door of the home and took a laptop, an iPad and a flat screen TV, police said.
