Temple Terrace Man Dies Diving In Cayman Islands

Authorities in the Cayman Islands say that there was nothing about his death.

A man from Temple Terrace died Sunday while on a diving trip in the Cayman Islands.

William Lemuel Lawson Jr. was diving at a site known as the Double Wall off Cayman Brac, according to a report by the Miami Herald.

The 80-year-old man was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead. Authorities in the Cayman Islands say that there was nothing about his death that would indicate foul play, according to TBO.com.

Lawson's wife Lynn died in June of 2012. The pair had been married for 54 years.
