Corbett Preparatory School of IDS, a school for PreK3 through eighth grade, will host an Admissions Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 28, beginning at 8:30 am during which prospective families can become acquainted with the school.

The Admissions Open House will begin with an overview of the school conducted by Headmaster Dr. Joyce B. Swarzman. Dr. Swarzman will discuss the school’s dynamic academic curriculum as well as its extraordinary fine arts, sports and technology programs. She will explain how Corbett Prep balances a nurturing, safe and exciting learning environment with high standards and high expectations.

Corbett Prep offers the International Baccalaureate Programme at all grade levels beginning at PreK3.
Over five semesters, the school completed training in gifted education masters-level courses through a partnership grant with the University of South Florida College of Education.

The Admissions Open Houses will include a tour of the beautiful, cypress-covered campus conducted by middle school student “ambassadors.” A light breakfast will be served.

“Our vision is to make the learning process joyful and challenging, as well as stimulating and productive, said Dr. Swarzman. “Our dynamic teaching faculty put children first, focusing on excellence and developing a positive approach to life and learning, while also emphasizing the importance of giving back to the greater community. As our book says, It's All About Kids: Every Child Deserves a Teacher of the Year.”

In addition, families interested in learning about Corbett Prep are always welcome to call the Admissions Office to schedule a personal tour at any time. The school is located at 12015 Orange Grove Drive in Tampa.

Contact Dr. Jennifer Morrow, Admissions Director, to place a reservation or for more information: jmorrow@idsyes.com or 813-961-3087.

Amen! NO WALLY WORLD!! Sweat Tomatoes time has passed in my opinion. What I would like is a BestRead More Buy type of store somewhere where you can electronics and such. We used to have a Circuit city on Fowler along with a real nice book store, then the pressure of being so close to suitcase city forced them all to close or move to New Tampa. It's real sad, I feel I speak for most of us In saying we need a good variety of businesses local to Temple Terrace to shop at.
