Water Main Break Closes Part of Riverhills Drive

North Riverhills Drive is closed from Druid Hills Road to Bannockburn Avenue in both directions due to a water main break, according to a press release from the City of Temple Terrace.

The city is uncertain what caused the break Friday morning, the release states.

Three or four homes are temporarily without water as workers examine the extent of the problem, however, officials expect minimal disruption to the rest of the neighborhood, said Mike Darrow, deputy director of Public Works’ Water and Sewer Division in the release.

Darrow said workers are unsure how long the road will be closed or how long repairs to the pipeline will take, according to the release.
