How Are You Getting Your Fall On?

Today is the first official day of fall and we want to hear how you’re celebrating the change of seasons.

This morning’s cool temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s throughout the Tampa Bay area weren’t just a tease.

Today, Sept. 22, is the first official day of fall. While it is true temperatures are expected to rise to the near 90s later today, this morning served as a nice hint of just what’s to come.

While Florida never really sees autumn in the northern sense of the word–crisp weather, colorful leaves–we do get to enjoy lower humidity and comfortable weather as fall makes its appearance. Plus, there's Halloween and Thanksgiving to look forward to!

Even though sweaters might still be a few weeks off, we’d love to hear from you Tampa Bay. What do you look forward to the most about Florida’s version of fall? Let us know in the comments section.

When I think of Autumn I think of Taste-of-the-Heights.com, Tampa's best Fall Festival.

Rich, that sounds like fun! Vincent, the story was written for the entire Tampa Bay area. The early morning range yesterday was upper 60s to low 70s, as it is today, according to the National Weather Service. Unfortunately, it does look like today's high will breach that 90-mark.
