Great Weather Expected This Weekend

Planning to spend your time this weekend trudging from store to store to get your holiday shopping wrapped up?

As you battle those lines, you can take comfort in knowing the weather in the Temple Terrace area shouldn't be frightful, according to the National Weather Service’s Ruskin office.

“It should be a pretty nice weekend,” said meteorologist Nicole Carlisle. “(We’re) not going to have really much in the way of rain chances.”

While some patchy fog is expected early this morning, Carlisle says both today and tomorrow should shape up to be pretty good days.

Today’s highs should climb into the upper 70s with lows in the mid-50 courtesy of a “dry cold front” that’s going to be moving through. Sunday’s high will only reach about 70 as a result with a low in the lower 50s that night.

As of now, it appears as if the workweek will start out fairly mild, as well.
