Dads, Daughters Make Dates at Chick-fil-A

The restaurant's Daddy-Daughter Date Night brought dads and daughters together June 16.

Dads and their daughters headed to the June 16 for the restaurant’s special .

Guests made reservations ahead of time for the Fowler location’s Tropical Island Princess Night.

“Mostly it was dads setting aside this special time to spend with their daughters, but we also had daughters who made the reservation to spend time with their dads,” said Carmen Fisher, marketing director of the Fowler Avenue restaurant. “In either case, it was a wonderful opportunity for daddy-daughter bonding.

The Chick-fil-A Cow mingled with guests and provided special photo opportunities, Fisher said.

Owner Denis Spradlin invested in transforming the lanai into a tropical experience with tropical table centerpieces, decor and lit tiki torches, Fisher said. ’s Baptist Collegiate Ministry volunteered their time and equipment to make sure the atmosphere was complete with steel drum music playing in the background.

"All that with a warm breeze blowing the night was set for a remarkable experience," Fisher said.

Upon arrival, guests stopped by the hostess tent/cabana, and each daughter was given a princess wand, Fisher said. Thanks to Blooming Days Florists, each dad was presented a flower to give their daughter(s). A hostess then guided the guests to their assigned tables and a server presented them with a menu and took their order tableside.

was on site with information about their and summer camps. They also provided our guests with Frisbees and coloring sheets. The biggest eye catcher they brought with them was “Rainbow The Parrot,” who delighted our guests and fit perfectly into the theme of the night.

Total Entertainment was on site making balloons for all the guests, Fisher said. At the end of the night, each daughter received a goody bag and dads received a box of candy.

“The investment and effort to creating this experience was well worth it,” Fisher said. “Providing opportunity for families to make memories and putting smiles on people’s faces is what it's all about.”
