Dads, Daughters Invited to Chick-fil-A June 16

The Fowler Avenue restaurant will host a Daddy-Daughter Date Night the day before Father's Day.

Building on the success of their first , 30 Chick-fil-A restaurants across Tampa—including the —will host the second annual event June 16, 4:30-8:30 p.m.

Jane Melton, area marketing director for Tampa Bay Chick-fil-A’s said the restaurants are looking forward to the special night.

“We understand the importance of father-daughter relationships and want to encourage Tampa Bay dads to take a break from busy schedules, enjoy their daughter’s company over a meal and have fun,” she said.

The Fowler Avenue Chick-fil-A will have its event under its covered lanai. The theme is Island Princess, so the lanai will be decorated with a Hawaiian theme and guests are encouraged to wear tropical attire, like Hawaiian shirts and sundresses.

Guests will be seated by a hostess, receive menus and place their orders with a server.

In addition to food, there will be goody bags and opportunities to win prizes. Every daddy-daughter pair will also receive a tray liner with questions and topics to get the conversation started, and a take-home booklet called “Continuing the Conversation” that provides ideas for future dates and questions that both dads and daughters can ask each other.

All meals are at cost to guests; the family fun is free.

Seatings are available every hour, and reservations are required. Customers can make a reservation by visiting Chick-fil-A online.
