Chick-fil-A Cookie Giveaway Creates Competition

The Fowler Avenue location offered free cookies, story time and challenging games Tuesday evening.

The Cow did push ups to entertain William and Elizabeth Hammontree and Emma and Jesse Bingham Tuesday evening as they waited to play "Minute to Win It" games to win the restaurant's new desserts.

A few minutes later, William, 19, and Elizabeth, 15, were scrunching their faces in order to move an Oreo cookie from their foreheads to their mouths in one minute without using their hands.

The games were part of . The restaurant began offering Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Fudge Brownies and assorted sundaes in April.

Prior to the games, a librarian from the read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" to families.

Amen! NO WALLY WORLD!! Sweat Tomatoes time has passed in my opinion. What I would like is a BestRead More Buy type of store somewhere where you can electronics and such. We used to have a Circuit city on Fowler along with a real nice book store, then the pressure of being so close to suitcase city forced them all to close or move to New Tampa. It's real sad, I feel I speak for most of us In saying we need a good variety of businesses local to Temple Terrace to shop at.
