Florida Hospital Tampa FREE stroke education event
In honor of National Stroke Awareness Month and to celebrate its recent “Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award,” Florida Hospital Tampa is offering a FREE stroke education event and low-cost screenings from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May19, 2012.
COST:
“Basic” screening is $25 and includes ALT, blood sugar, cholesterol, atrial fibrillation EKG, homocysteine, and C-reactive protein levels (12-hour fasting is required prior to receiving a Basic screening).
“Advanced” screening is $25 and includes carotid ultrasound, ankle brachial index and body composition analysis.
