Octubafest Highlights 'Underestimated' Instrument

Although outshone by the sax and other 'cooler' instruments, the tuba is an essential party of an orchestra. University of South Florida students in the tuba and euphonium ensemble discuss Octubafest in this Patch video.

The University of South Florida's School of Music is holding Octubafest 2013 later this month. 
Solos for tuba and euphonium will highlight two nights of music-making. Both performances will be held at the USF School of Music, Barness Recital Hall, 3755 W. Holly Drive.
