Local Artist to Host Tuesday Workshops

Terry Klaaren, who lives just outside of Temple Terrace, will be hosting a series of workshops at the for adults and teens.

Workshops will take place on Tuesdays, 7-8:30 p.m. on the following dates: Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25; and Oct. 23, 30.

The workshops are meant for “artists with the desire to improve their drawing skills and acrylic painting techniques,” according to a press release.

Each individual artist will receive creative attention from Klaaren, an award-winning landscape and portrait artist and muralist. Students will finish artworks within a 2-week or 4-week session.

The fee for each 2-session workshop is $35 for the general public and $25 for members of ; the fee includes all materials.

Reservations are required and classes are limited to 12 people. No children will be accepted.
