Learn drawing and painting techniques in Art Basics workshops with Tampa artist Terry Klaaren. His on-going art program for Adults & Teens is open to all skill levels. Workshops are limited to 10 people. There is a six-person minimum. The cost is $25 for Parks and Recreation members and $35 for all others. The cost includes materials and covers a creative two-week session with a variety of subjects including landscapes, animals, portraits and still life. No deposit is required. Space reservations are encouraged and appreciated.

We used to have a Circuit city on Fowler along with a real nice book store, then the pressure of being so close to suitcase city forced them all to close or move to New Tampa. It's real sad, I feel I speak for most of us In saying we need a good variety of businesses local to Temple Terrace to shop at.
