Explore underground caverns in the Withlacoochee State Forest where stalactites, stalagmites and other geological treasures are found. Look out for bats as you crawl through twisting caverns. Wear comfortable shoes, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt that you won’t mind getting dirty. Program involves walking and crawling. Bring a hat, flashlight, lunch and plenty of water. The trip is designed for adults with children age 8 or older. Preregistration is required.
All participants meet near the caves north of Brooksville. Directions will be provided with your confirmation letter.
