Watch Bicyclist Almost Get Hit on Bullard Parkway

It could have been a terrible accident.

A 13-second video posted on YouTube by American Traffic Solutions, which operates Temple Terrace’s red light cameras, shows an SUV almost plowing into a bicyclist at the intersection of Bullard Parkway and 56th Street.

The SUV was making a right turn and didn’t stop at the red light. The bicyclist was traveling in the crosswalk.

One commenter says the bicyclist should have been using the right lane, not the crosswalk. Another says motorists should simply stop on red, look both ways, and then turn right.
